Jeffrey M. Brooks has been working in the information technology industry for over 15 years.  Jeffrey has built teams that have been recognized both nationally and internationally, gaining accolades via industry awards such as the Stevie Awards for Customer Service and HDI’s Team Excellence Awards. He has coached local HDI Analyst of the Year winners in multiple markets as well as a regional winner.

Jeffrey’s expertise is in joining growing companies with developing service organizations and building teams able to handle complex customer issues in a timely and professional manner. Jeffrey is well versed in a variety of technologies and focuses on individual development using both traditional training models and job‐based experience.

During Jeffrey’s professional career, he returned to school twice to earn a Masters in Computer Information Systems and an M.B.A.

Jeffrey is a family-oriented individual with strong ideals around work‐life balance. Jeffrey is a firm believer in organizational efficiency at all levels and believes that through great teams, individual workers can learn to enjoy the best of their work life alongside their home life.

Active within the industry, Jeffrey has served on the Board of Directors for various professional organizations. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for both the NC LIG of itSMF and the Charlotte chapter of HDI.

Jeffrey has spoken on many of the topics presented in this book from audiences of 15 to hundreds, locally, nationally and internationally. Jeffrey has authored blogs, magazine articles and participated in numerous panel discussions aimed at education within the industry. Numerous organizations focusing on the improvement of their current service models have sought Jeffrey’s expert assistance.
